Diaphragm pump MP 520 - air-operated double diaphragm pump for paints and coating materials

The Krautzberger MP 520 is a pneumatically operated double diaphragm pump for industrial painting and coating applications. It is suitable for conveying liquid and low-viscosity coating materials from unpressurized storage tanks and reliably supplies spray guns, automatic spray guns and dosing devices with material.

The delivery rate can be infinitely adjusted via the compressed air supply. As soon as the set material pressure is reached, the diaphragm pump switches off automatically. If material is removed at the extraction point, the MP 520 restarts automatically and keeps the set material pressure constant.

Constant material supply for industrial coating processes

In painting and coating processes, a consistent supply of material is crucial for stable results. The MP 520 was developed for applications in which paints, water-based paints, oils, glazes or comparable low-viscosity media have to be conveyed reliably.

Thanks to its compact design, simple pneumatic operation and robust construction, the double diaphragm pump is suitable for both manual painting workstations and automated spraying processes. In conjunction with suitable accessories, it can be flexibly integrated into existing material supply systems.

Especially in combination with Krautzberger spray guns, the MP 520 offers a reliable solution for conveying and supplying coating materials. Depending on the application, the pump can be supplemented with accessories such as a pressure compensation tank, material filter, material pressure regulator, suction device or wall bracket.

The MP 520 is designed for conveying liquid and low-viscosity coating materials. These include lacquers, water-based lacquers, oils and glazes. The actual suitability always depends on the medium used, its viscosity, temperature, chemical composition and the respective process conditions.

For optimum design, Krautzberger recommends individual testing of the application. This allows the diaphragm pump to be selected to suit the material supply, the spray gun used and the desired coating result.
