Information about the Walther Trowal Rotamat:
PERFECT RESULTS EVEN ON COMPLEX SURFACES
Coating with the Rotamat is an economical solution for finishing mass-produced small parts made of elastomers, metal or wood, such as O-rings, handles, springs or screws. Even parts with complex geometries or particularly sensitive surfaces leave the machine perfectly coated and dry. The coating process is fully automatic, eliminating the time-consuming loading or hanging of parts on racks required by conventional automatic coating machines. The Rotamat is suitable for a wide range of coating materials.
Typical applications include:
Decorative coating:
Enhances surfaces with a wide range of effect and functional coatings, environmentally friendly solvent-free coatings and special one- or two-component coatings.
Dry-film lubricant coating:
Reduces friction coefficients and prevents chatter and stick-slip effects on small parts such as O-rings, sealing components or valve stems. It also makes the intensive separation of parts easier.
Bonding agent coating:
Creates a strong bond between the substrate and the elastomer in both single-layer systems and two-layer systems consisting of primer and cover.
Corrosion protection coating:
Provides workpieces with a durable protective layer without environmentally harmful chemicals. For example, unlike dip-spin coating, the drives of small and miniature screws remain open and usable.
